There Ski Free Rando Evolution 2 Saint-Lary is designed to introduce you to the basics of this activity in the Pyrenees, with a qualified instructor and a program adapted to the conditions of the day.
Climbing with skins, kick turns, equipment use, safety and first descents on natural snow: You will gradually discover the fundamentals of ski touring.

Outing procedure
A meeting is planned before the outing to check the equipment, discuss your level and confirm the program according to the conditions.
On the day of the outing, your instructor will begin by assessing your skiing level before gradually leaving the marked area.
The day then alternates between technical learning, climbing with skins, safety exercises and descents in natural snow.
The output usually corresponds to a long half-day. The schedule and route may be adapted to mountain conditions.
A program that adapts to the mountains
In ski touring, the route cannot be fixed several weeks in advance.
Your instructor chooses the sector and adapts the program accordingly:
